The goal of the Athletic Training department is to  provide health care through immediate first aid, evaluation of athletic injuries, follow-up treatment, and rehabilitation, for the purpose of allowing athletes to participate in high school sports in a safe and healthy manner. Our team physicians Dr. Leonard Brody and Dr. Robert Mannherz, of Suburban Orthopedic Specialists, specialize in orthopedics and sports medicine and are readily accessible for diagnosis, referral and follow-up care. Another basic objective is to provide the athlete with a body of knowledge about their particular injuries so that they may have a better understanding of the care that is being rendered. Through this educational process, the athlete will be both mentally and physically prepared to combat injury in the future. |
